Interviews with Co-operative Practitioners from around the World

Misako Shinozaki, Chairperson of the Seikatsu Club Consumers' Co-operative Union (Kanagawa), was interviewed by the International Labour Organization (ILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations.

This article is one in a series of interviews, titled “Spotlight Interviews with Co-operators,” on the ILO website. In the interview series, the ILO speaks with co-operative practitioners from around the world whom the ILO has become acquainted with through their work on co-operatives and the social solidarity economy (SSE).

The interview describes Seikatsu Club's efforts, including the workers' movement, and its plans to promote the development of the social solidarity economy in Japan.
